new book/ book tour/last chance to get a goat poster

this is a quick one

Hi! It’s Mac, writing you from a Sheraton outside Baltimore. I’m here with Jonny K., A.K.A. Jon Klassen. We just started our book tour for The Three Billy Goats Gruff, which comes out this week!

Sadly, if you live in or around Baltimore, you won’t be able to see us while we’re here. We’re mostly visiting schools on this book tour, and only doing a few public events. Here’s a list of them. We enjoy reading this book out loud and we’d love to meet you if you can make it.

Speaking of The Three Billy Goats Gruff: It hits shelves Tuesday, October 18. And that means Monday, October 17, is the last day you can preorder the book and get a poster with a giant goat on it for free. The whole deal is explained here. We like these posters a lot and think it’s cool Scholastic is doing this.

Signing off from Jon’s room, where we are watching TV that has that weird smoothing setting on and won’t let us adjust the picture. It looks terrible!
